Weigh every item, separate your base weight from consumables, and see whether your pack sits at the 20–25% body-weight guideline — your list is saved in this browser.
Weigh your pack
Add each piece of gear with its real weighed weight (in kg). Water and food are consumed on the trail — they are tracked separately.

How is this calculated?
Base weight is everything you carry that is not consumed on the trail: shelter, sleep system, clothing, cook kit, technology and safety items. Consumables are water (1 L ≈ 1 kg) plus food. Total pack load is base + consumables. The classic rule of thumb is that total pack weight should stay within 20–25% of your body weight on multi-day hikes; ultralight enthusiasts target under 15%.
pack% = total / bodyWeight × 100%
